The Lion King:
Just a few months after having released the colorful, though strange, remake of the famous Aladdin , the Disney studio is completely committed to The Lion King. It looks like they were a bit afraid of changing almost anything in the story, Jon Favreau, the movie's director tells the audience exactly the same plot of the 1994 original, making little to no changes to avoid negative reviews. Despite the feeling of being in front of a rehash, the amazing animal's hyperrealism and the scenarios, together with a duo of comical characters that show off, help the The Lion King to preserve some freshness that is worth experiencing. In The Lion King we get to know lion prince Simba's story (Donald Glover when he is adult, whereas being played as a puppy by J.D. McCray). Simba is prepared from the earliest stages of his life to, one day, become a king, just like Mufasa, his father (whose voice is played by no less than James Earl Jones). Soon in the movie, Mufasa is murdered in his evil, jealous brother's hands, who goes by the name of Scar (and yes, he actually has a scar in one of his eyebrows). Scar tricks Simba into thinking that he's responsible for the targedy of his father, which makes him feel so guilty and scared that he flees the kingdom, leaving his entire life behind. The movie follows the emotional trip Simba has to face throughout his life as he becomes an adult, and eventually pursues his true destiny of becoming a king. Since Disney began its new interesting goal to remake as real-image films (or realistic animation, in some cases) almost all of its animated films from the Renaissance era of the studio, many have wondered, why do they do it, what is it? the objective? Is improving these movies using technology that did not exist in the early 90s the goal? Do you want to give more depth to marginalized characters? Improve diversity? Maybe it's something as simple as "reminding us why we loved them." The Lion King could be easily of the most popular Disney movies. Some moments are different, extending certain scenes or the development of some characters, but they are few and very poorly developed. A secondary plot for the hyena Shenzi (interpreted in a threatening way by Florence Kasumba, of Black Panther), which involves a war between hyenas and lions, in the end does not reach anywhere, and this is so sad because this time the hyenas are not presented as obedient fascist soldiers without their own intelligence; instead, they are a group being marginalized bothered by the lion's dominion over the land that's rightfully theirs. It is a hardly missed opportunity for the creators to give more depth to these three characters that originally had no context or history. It is logical that the study wanted to avoid any political similarities and controversy, but it still feels like a perfect opportunity to make a great point with a great movie just passing byb. However, the film needed to follow both the moments and events of the 1994 film, which leaves the story of the hyenas without resolution. It seems that the mentality of the film is that you don't need any depth in the plot if you have 2019's incredible CCGI. Sometimes, you feel like you're not watching a fiction story, but a documentarie on the nature of Disney or BBC's. The characters look just like actual lions, this is a spectacle worth contemplating, but it also has one real disadvantage, it is possible to tell the differences between the characters. For example, it is practically impossible to tell the difference between female lionesses. The Lion King is an extremely beautiful movie and worthy of being seen on the largest possible screen, but like some of Disney's latest remakes, it can't help feeling completely unnecessary.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker:
Star Wars Episode IX is what happens when an artist gives his voice to the pre-approved speeches of a corporation, which, trying not to offend any viewer (“consumer” would be a more appropriate word), insists on a story created by committee and which seeks to say only what your customers want to hear, watch now the movie and find out for yourself In this sense, J.J. Abrams is the dream of every executive, a safe bet, since he is a director more interested in recreating than conceiving something of his own. Competent from a technical point of view (which ultimately sets him apart from a Chris Columbus), the filmmaker is always more comfortable when emulating styles set by others (such as Super 8 and Cloverfield) or continuing established narratives. (Mission: Impossible 3, Star Trek, The Force Awakens) - and, no wonder, the best you can imagine at a key moment in The Skywalker Ascension is practically a visual quote from The Hunters of the Lost Ark. His willingness to repaint designs by the most imaginative artists is, of course, ideal for reboots - and, as efficient as Force Awakening (and we like the movie very much), it is undisputed that it is more of a remake than a continued as all the beats of history, archetypes and stylistic elements came straight from A New Hope. Comparing his work to that of a truly inventive artist like Rian Johnson, who has his own voice and sought to use it in The Last Jedi to uncover new angles in a retold story a thousand times, is a revealing exercise in analysis - and there is not, at all Abrams' filmography, a passage that matches that of the battle in Snoke's red throne room, or a plan like that in which Rey's hand suddenly comes up to hold the lightsaber flying toward the camera. On the other hand, as much as it was a critical and box office hit, Episode VIII displeased a portion of the Star Wars fandom - either for its thematic ambition and social-political subtext or for “not really Star Wars. " In other words: fans who just wanted a fresh dose of the usual recipe. It is appropriate therefore that the opening words of Star Wars Episode IX opening sign are “The Dead Speak!”, As, amidst its corporate panic, franchise owner Disney basically decided to ignore the biggest part of Johnson's brilliant contributions and betting on what he considered safe, to the point of reviving the saga's most powerful villain (not spoiler; it's in the trailer), Senator Palpatine (McDiarmid) - even if this means, in retrospect, diminishing the effect of the sacrifice made by Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi. Similarly, as "fans" disapproved of young Rose Tico, who paired with Finn (Boyega) in the last chapter, here Abrams and her bosses reward the toxicity and abuse that forced actress Kelly Marie Tran to abandon social networks. and quickly demean her to a near figuration through a poorly worded excuse ("I can't go with you; General Leia wants me to ..." blah blah blah) - which, considering the proximity of the two characters to end of The Force Awakens, represents a gigantic stumble from a narrative point of view. Say what you like about George Lucas and his prequels - at least the director had enough personality to ignore the fandom and make the movies he wanted, even if they revolved around trade route taxation. And it is a huge disappointment that, having the opportunity to end the third of three trilogies, J.J. Abrams and the Disney executives have chosen the commercially safer, and not coincidentally, artistically less challenging path, but see for yourself, watch online this movie and get your own conclusions.

The Call of the Wild:
One of the most fun, and perhaps educational films to watch in the Sunday morning movie lineup is The Call of the Wild. Each film I watch this weekend is a different journey, each one imbued with a different special character and different period of time in the American and Canadian history of this country. This movie does not present an easy approach to learn about this country's history but rather encourages the viewer to delve into it as their personal adventure. It is hard to understand the grand scope of this film. The simple reason is because of the amount of people who have actually enjoyed this movie. If this was a movie made just for kids or someone who could not possibly comprehend the details of the plot then I would be one hundred percent satisfied with the movie. With The Call of the Wild, it was made for a whole bunch of different audiences, one for the hardcore fans, and another that are familiar with American movies in general, and could put together a more intricate plot. From the start of the movie, you are caught up in the story of the hunting expedition of the Captains, the first unit of hunters. No two characters are ever the same. So much is happening, and in such a small amount of time that is truly what makes this movie a cult classic. The show is about a large group of men and women who team up to take on the world. The long-term goal is to go on a hunt for all seven bears of North America, and as they do this they do so in a wilderness area, where they come into contact with wolves, cougars, bears, and others. All of these challenges and activities combine to keep the spirit of the explorers alive throughout. That is what this show was made for, which is where the title comes from. But The Call of the Wild isn't just about the hunt, as it progresses to explore the many different emotions that are involved in such a process. You will meet the many different characters, from the soldiers to the professional and amateur hunters that are part of the expedition. You will see the personalities that make up this crew as they gather together and try to find the opportunity to go out on a wild hunt. In the end, these are not real stories but are instead made to be made out of many, many different stories of people meeting, experiencing, and traveling to such stories. These characters and stories are the passion behind the content. The Call of the Wild was made for that type of character-driven experience. The movie is also not a simple journey, but is a true tale, as it tells the story of the everyday people of the time. For example, you will see children working with the crew, helping to hunt and kill the animals, as well as building shelters and other items that keep them alive and supplied with food. The characters are real people, too, and although their story is just one in the cycle of human existence, the hunt itself is real can make for a good story. If you are looking for something different in your weekend viewing, or you are looking for something to take away the weekend with, The Call of the Wild is a great movie to choose. It is an easy to watch movie that can give you the information you need to engage yourself in this particular, and many more, experiences of American life.

Onward:
Moving an Onward is a great event for the young. The event calls to get people together and unite them under a common theme. With this, you can share your views on the movement with many more people. As far as movies are concerned, the movement is really hit to the mark. It comprises of movies such as Journey to the center of the earth, The red ribbon era, No End, Jack's Mannequin, Dumbo, Nutcracker and much more. As far as the movement is concerned, it is an interactive event that includes activities such as arts, dance, speeches, and music, which are considered to be important parts of a movie. This is where you get to enjoy the movie and take pleasure in seeing the play of the night as well. To do so, you need to know more about the movie itself. As far as Onward is concerned, there are a lot of reasons why you should watch the movie and perhaps make plans to view it again in the coming days. The first reason to watch the movie is that it shows you the real meaning of teamwork. This is important and it will help you see that moving forwards is not all about yourself alone. The second reason to watch the movie is that it is another chapter of the Association World Tour. Moving forward is more than just making a simple headway. A lot of people have seen that. If you like them, you can't help but feel that the movie on Onward is a great experience for you. Another reason to watch the movie is because it is set in the year 2020. The concept behind this is that, it goes back to the essence of films. It shows you that times have changed a lot and you should be taking note of it. Moving forward has a lot of significance and it shows you that. You can only feel this if you know a lot about movies. Lastly, the movie is about teamwork. If you are in the business, you would know that teamwork is really hard to maintain. That is why the movie has come up and made the viewers to go forward. As far as the actors involved are concerned, they are giving you more than just a role. They are showing their real attitude and style in portraying their character. In other words, the actors are not only acting in the movie but they are acting out their own life too. Moving Forward is a movie that you should watch if you are looking for something new. It is a film that is sure to leave a deep impression in you would want to know more about it.
