Kamen Rider: The First Generation is a movie based on the Kamen Rider series. It was created by Masamori Shoji and Takashi Yamazaki and first aired in Japanese theaters on December 13, 2020. It then went on to make it's way to home video in Japan and later on to DVD in other countries. This movie follows the story of Reiwa Shimano and her journey to find herself and learn to be a better person.
The movie follows the story of the character Reiwa Shimano, who becomes the first Rider in the world and falls in love with the Rider Jinta. On the way to being a fully-fledged Rider, she meets various characters as she makes her way through the world.
The movie also deals with themes that are important in anime and manga. In addition to being the very first Rider in the world, she becomes the first female to become a Rider. There are many girls that have grown up dreaming of becoming a Rider, but none of them were able to, until she was able to do so. However, that doesn't mean that her dream has gone out of reach, because she finds that there are other girls that grew up with the same dream that want to become a Rider.
The Movie is known for being a revival of the series, which previously made cameos in the previous serie. There are many elements that make this movie unique and different from the previous ones. Movie mode included music and sound effects, which gave a completely new vibe to the series.
It also has plenty of variations from the previous serie. The Story, which was shown in the first serie, comes out in a different form and is told in a different perspective. The director of the movie, Masamori Shoji, has said that the movie tries to expand the aspects of the series, which were not touched on in the previous serie. Also, the changes in perspectives will make the viewer to remember some of the parts that they had forgotten about.
Also, there is a lot of action in the movie. Several scenes are shown and shows off the power that the movie possesses. One scene that caught my attention was when the villain, Nyapasha, wants to get revenge against a rival group. A biker gang member tells him that they're all going to heaven because of the evil Ryuto, so he will send them back to earth and he will bring his comrades to fight the boys and so, the villains prepare for their final confrontation with the crew of the masked.
Another difference from the serie is the inclusion of new monsters. One scene, called "Inner Dark", showed off monster abilities such as fire-breathing. It even introduced a new character that I am quite excited about, named Kamen Rider Hojo, and how he is an ace pilot for the gang of Kamen Riders.
So, if you're looking for a refreshing change from the usual serie, then watch the movie. You can see that it did its job in bringing back the series to its former glory.
